In addition to easily creating smart & dynamic web forms that automatically route/file themselves, Laserfiche Forms also provides a powerful user “dashboard” interface that includes a sortable task inbox, convenient tracking of forms you have submitted/approved, process performance reports, & customizable analytics reporting. Of course, security permissions & access rights will determine what each individual can see and what actions they can perform in the dashboard. Depending on a user’s role or security permissions – they may only see their inbox and have tracking of previously submitted/approved forms, they may also have access to certain types of reports, or they may have a higher administrative level of access.

Laserfiche Forms provides users (with the appropriate permissions of course) with the ability to track every single Forms process from start to finish. For processes currently in progress or processes that have been completed – users can see where a form currently is, who’s reviewed/approved it, reviewer comments, changes that have been made, how long it has been in each stage, and more. Performance reports allow users to take a higher level look at processes as well – providing insights into how many forms/processes have been completed, how many are ongoing, average process time from start to finish, how long each stage in a process typically takes to be completed, the number of tasks currently assigned to each reviewer/approver, and more.

Additionally, every single piece of information collected in a form submission goes into a database – which allows for an unlimited number of filtered reports to be created using form submission data. Let’s take Student Bullying/Incident Report forms as an example, a report can be created track data-points like:

• Type of incident, location of incident, ages of involved students, etc. for each form submitted
• Number of bullying incidents reported in the past week, month, semester, year, etc.
• Number of the incidents involving cyber-bullying
• Number of incidents at each campus, each grade, etc.
• Demographic totals/averages
• Any other type of data/information collected within the form

What’s really nice about the custom reporting features is that the reports can easily be exported to Excel or CSV format for sharing or further data-manipulation. And, reports can be saved and ran on-demand or can be scheduled to run automatically as well.
